The Monterey Peninsula had an impressive spring market, and while every neighborhood tells a different story, here are a few highlights from the second quarter:
297 homes sold across the Peninsula — up 37% from Q1 and 12% year over year.
$626M in total sales volume, the strongest quarter since Q2 2022.
Average sales price: $2.3M | Median sales price: $1.5M.
Pebble Beach recorded a $31M sale, the first on-MLS closing above $20M since 2022.
Carmel-by-the-Sea surpassed $100M in quarterly sales volume.
Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Marina each experienced one of their busiest quarters in years.
60% of homes in Seaside sold at or above asking price, signaling continued buyer demand.
466 new listings came to market—giving buyers the most inventory they've seen in years.
Even with more inventory, average days on market improved from 64 to 55 days, showing that well-priced homes continue to sell quickly.
